Dr. V was recently highly recommended by a good friend and someone I trust, my current dentist was retiring. I can honestly state that the recommendation was GREAT! Dr. V is truly a dream-come-true. She is unlike most people in her field – she does not believe that you must endure pain to locate the problem. Dr. V radiates trust, patience and sincerity. I have complete and unconditional faith in her and the medicine she practices.      

My daughter came to see Dr. V at age 9 recommended by a friend. Our first visit was so eye-opening and educational. I learned more about my child’s mouth and teeth in the first 5 minutes than I had for the last 5 years at another dentist. Two months later, my daughter was referred to an orthodontist and we had braces over the course of one year, her teeth are coming together allowing for all those other teeth to come in. The whole shape and changes to her teeth are obvious, to the positive. Amazing that Dr. V saw the need to go this route and was so swift and confident in her treatment plan. We are on track! Thank you! I wouldn’t have my child at any other dentist. Best decision I ever made for my child.

My family and I have been going to Dr. V for 13 years and she has done an outstanding job at keeping our dental needs in stellar condition. She is competent and professional always. I have been with Dr. Visanescu since day one. She and her staff has always been friendly and helpful. They have worked with my schedule. I had a root canal and the next day I was in pain. After calling the office I went to her office. Dr. Visanescu made room in her day to find out why I was having so much pain. Dr. Visanescu discovered I had an extra nerve canal, so she performed an unscheduled root canal. The office will follow up with you when you have had a problem. I had a bad experience with a dentist when I was a child. I explained that to Dr. Visanescu the first visit and she has worked with me through the years now. Now I don’t hate going to the dentist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Visanescu’s for over 14 years. Over this time she has performed routine cleaning on my teeth as well as more complex cosmetic procedures. Dr. Visanescu is very knowledgeable and well-versed on the latest dental advancements. Dr. Janet Visanescu is one of the best dentists I have ever seen, She is patient, listens to what is wrong on your visit and suggests the best options for solving the proble. If not for her care I would have false teeth. She has saved my teeth because I have a gum disease and was about to lose them all. Thank goodness she has saved them for me. I recommend her to everyone I know. She is awesome!

We had been in LaGrange for about 6 months when our 1 ½ yr old daughter fell and pushed back her front teeth. At this point we hadn’t even begun our search for a local dentist. I called Dr. V's office in a panic to see what I should do. They referred us to a place in Louisville, which Dr. V’s office set up so we could be seen right away. Dr. V also asked us to bring our daughter by her office on Saturday morning so she could also take a look. She opened her office just for us that Saturday morning. We weren’t even patients of hers at the time! Dr V was so gracious and willing to go above to help and give us guidance with our daughter. Our second daughter was a thumb sucker. On her first dental visit, Dr. V told our daughter to hide her thumb. She completely stopped her thumb sucking within a month. We have always felt comfortable with Dr. V and her staff.

After 20+ years as a patient of Dr. V’s (as we affectionately call her) I have found her to be a gentle, kind and thorough professional, She has been an “advocate” for my teeth and has treated my issues with great vigor. I attribute her with saving all my teeth by educating me and treating them in a way like no other dentist I have encountered. I have recommended several friends to her and they agree.              

Excellent dentist – I have trusted Dr. V with everything from routine care to bridge and crown work. And trust me, I know my mouth has been a challenge.  Dr. V even guided me through the implant process and Invisalign treatment. I am 61 years young and my teeth are more functional now than ever before!    Dr. V also cared for my two boys through their teen years. I highly recommend Dr. V and her professional, caring staff.       

Since my wife and I became patients of Dr. V, we have enjoyed expert professional service to include annual/semi-annual teeth cleaning, treatment for gingivitis, tooth fillings/replacement, crowns, bridges, root canals and treatment for tooth injuries. When I cracked five of my upper front teeth, Dr. V placed crowns on them and in the process “straightened” the teeth for a better appearance.  Dr. V also wrote two letters to my insurance company describing the injury and the necessary treatment. We highly recommend Dr. V as a consideration for your dental requirements.                 

I have been a patient of Dr. V since moving to La Grange, KY area in 2007. A cap on a rear molar came off. Contacted several dentist offices. Dr. V was the only one who would make time to see me. After examination, she felt that the cap did not need to be replaced and that the molar would be fine as is. This was almost 10 years ago and the molar is still fine. This saved me the expense, time, and most likely discomfort of having the cap replaced. From that time to the present, I have an annual appointment to have my teeth cleaned. Just recently, I started having problems with another molar that had been capped well over 10 years ago. Dr. V removed the cap and performed a root canal then was able to put the old cap back on. This was all done in the office by Dr. V. I did not have to get a new cap made, and I did not have to use someone else for the root canal. Dr. V has never tried to sell me anything other than provide me with the required dental care necessary for good health. What more could anyone want from their dentist?

She is very friendly and thorough. She makes everyone at ease.
